Modified on Thu, 17 Sep at 6:20 AM

You can now send bulk emails to associated Contacts directly from Company and Custom Object lists.
Select the Companies, Properties, Policies, Pets, or other Custom Object records you want to act on, choose the relevant associated Contacts, and send your email without rebuilding the audience from the Contacts list.
What’s New?
  • New Send email bulk action for Companies and Custom Objects with Contact associations
  • For Custom Objects, select one or more association labels to define who should receive the email
  • Choose whether to send to: Most recently associated contact, earliest associated contact or All associated contacts
  • Use Company and Custom Object fields as merge fields in the email content
  • Compose using Quick Compose, Smart Builder, or an existing template
  • Send immediately, schedule for later, or use batch mode
  • Track delivery and engagement through Bulk Actions and Marketing → Emails → Bulk Action Campaigns
  • Contacts appearing through multiple selected association labels are de-duplicated before sending

Why This Matters
Smart Lists already let users create powerful segments using Company and Custom Object data. Until now, those segments could not be used directly for email campaigns because bulk email started from Contacts.
Now, users can segment first and communicate immediately.
For example:
  1. Filter Properties by city, price, property type, or status and email the associated Potential Buyers
  2. Filter Policies by renewal date and email the associated Policy Holders
  3. Filter Companies by industry, lifecycle stage, account tier, or owner and run a targeted B2B campaign
  4. Filter Memberships or Subscriptions by expiry date and email the associated members
  5. Create any Smart List based on Custom Object fields and send a campaign to the Contacts associated with those records
Notes
  1. - The action is available for Custom Objects that have an association with Contacts
  2. - For Companies, the Contact association is selected automatically
  3. - Existing email permissions, consent requirements, and deliverability rules continue to apply
  4. - The final recipient list is resolved when the bulk action runs
